1-Stop Translation's China office recently returned from what was an exciting and adventurous company trip over the past weekend. The company rented a private bus for the employees of the office and took them two hours south to Anshan where officemates enjoyed revitalizing their bodies in the natural hot spring and a competitive game of water polo in an indoor pool.

"It was the first time I was ever forced to wear a swimming cap in a pool," recalled Robert Wasserman of 1-Stop China.

After swimming, the group checked into their hotel accommodations at the foothills of the mountains. There, a long, jovial dinner was enjoyed by all. Drinking games ensued and smiles and laughter were present throughout the meal. Later that night, the company enjoyed group performances which were scripted and rehearsed prior to the trip. The evening concluded with some truly talented 1-Stop Karaoke singing.

The next day, employees awoke at the crack of dawn, ate a quick breakfast and loaded the bus, on their way to a mountain climbing expedition. For the next 5 hours, employees wheezed their way to the top of the mountain where 5 stone Buddhas stood guarding the peak.

"The highlight of the trip was reaching the top of the mountain," said Eileen Cao, 1-Stop China's Human Resources Manager. "Everyone shouted 1-Stop and we all shook each other's hands."

1-Stop Translation CEO, Don Shin, went on the company trip.
"It was a terrific experience and I look forward to many more of these kinds of company outings in the years to come,"said Shin. To view pictures submitted by our China office staff,

1-Stop Translation's 2005 Annual Survey is complete and the results are in...
The need for Asian language services are continuing to rise as clients have expressed increased needs for resources dedicated to Asian languages, primarily Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

As we continue to accommodate this growing trend, the overall satisfaction with our services has climbed 8% since our survey in 2004.  Of the total respondents, 92% believe that 1-Stop Translation is indeed the "Asian Experts Dedicated to You."  89% rate our prices as a reasonable reflection of the value of our services.  Furthermore, 94% added that they would choose 1-Stop Translation to fulfill their future Asian language needs.

When compared to alternative Asian language service providers, our good standing reflected a tremendous jump of nearly 50% from 2004's survey.  Specifically, a majority of respondents listed the reliability of our services, our range of services, and the turnaround time of our services as aspects of our services they felt were better than other companies.  On the flip side, about 20% of respondents felt aspects of our quality and pricing could be improved. However, it must be noted that 35% of respondents believed that our prices were better than the competition.  Also, in regards to quality, the survey showed a 97% satisfaction rate with our ability to handle client issues.  Nevertheless, we will continue to work on the other 3% until we reach 100%.

In conclusion, 1-Stop Translation would like to thank all the participants in our yearly survey along with all those who were not able to participate.  We understand that you all had a hectic schedule to start the new year, but we appreciate you taking a moment to aid in our improvement strategies.

As we celebrate new beginnings in 2006, we are proud to celebrate our newly revamped website.  As a sign of the times and due to technological limitations, we decided after much discussion that our website needed a serious overhaul.  What we came up with is a completely new design and much improved functionality.

This website includes updated content, a wealth of resources, and an ease of use that will offer our visitors much more interactivity and accessibility.  Specifically, we have a Live Chat service that will allow browsers to connect with our staff at any given time.  Our intranet will also give our clients a direct link to our database.

Look out for continued updates and improvements to the site.  And please bear with us as we are still working out some of the kinks and minor issues.
