Ensuring quality translation for Chinese language

Each language has specific translation issues that clients need to know before they request their document/website translated. One of the first questions people would ask regarding Chinese translation would be whether Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese. Simply speaking, they are not different languages but just different writing systems.

Simplified Chinese is the writing system regulated (simplified) by Chinese government in 1950's. But since Taiwan government and Chinese community in USA and other countries traditionally governed by Taiwan did not followed new simplified writing system and kept thousand years old traditional writing system. We've seen many cases that both end clients and even translation companies did not know what version of Chinese they need.

In 1-Stop Translation, before we simply follow client's order to 'translate into Chinese' our Chinese native project manager will ask you when, where and how the document will be used and tell you exactly what version of Chinese you need. In addition in 1-Stop Translation USA, we have in-house translators for both simplified and traditional Chinese linguists in our USA and China offices for best results of your projects.

Our Chinese Native Project Managers would work with you to understand what the context behind that translation is and convey that to our translator to ensure accuracy and quality of translation. Our rigorous quality assurance procedure ensures that your translation is reviewed by a native Chinese translator with specialty on the specific subjects and then proof read by a third translator so we do not miss out on any details of the document.
