One of the country's largest telecommunications companies needed to localize its print advertising campaign for Tagalog speakers or residents located in Japan. Through a contract with one of the leading companies in the translation industry, we were given the opportunity to take on this project. The client specifically requested the use of linguists with extensive experience in marketing-related translations.
The first step, considering the fact that the target audience was Tagalog-speaking residents in Japan, was to perform an initial research on the type of terminology that was common for them. With that in mind, the next step was to find suitable native Tagalog linguists with enough marketing experience to perform our initial translation process followed by our required quality-assurance process, in order to ensure the quality of our translation before delivery to the client. This thorough research and its successful outcome of finding the right resource wouldn't have been possible without our in-house native Tagalog-speaking
